Alaska's "Moon" Color

DSC08995.jpg

Our world travel begins 9/24/18, but I actually mark the beginning as 7/31/18 when we set out to Kodiak, Alaska. This was an incredible journey back to the island where we lived in 2005-5006. My first job out of Family Medicine Residency.

This is a video of the color "Moon" on Cape Alitak, which is on Kodiak island where i helped with some documentary work and medical work during a summer camp for local Alaskan Native kids. Moon is the 2nd name for both my kids. Its their generational Chinese name and in its feminine version it means the color of the clouds. So much amazing experiences, and this is one evening when the color of the clouds reminded me of my kids, who were on another part of Kodiak island at the time.

(I apologize for the wind noise in advance, but there are moments of clarity most of the time)
