Quito, Ecuador. Fierce Kids!
One of the things that strikes me most about travelling abroad are the massive and communal parks. We are at Parque La Carolina in Quito, Ecuador. Its about a 5 minute walk from out place. There’s a kids area, a cross fit area, and this here dirt bike course. There are all kinds of people here working out, playing soccer, volley ball, using the workout equipment outside. It reminds me of our visit to remote China where even the smallest town had a huge communal square for the public to utilize. And the public did utilize. I love seeing people together with people in the pursuit of fun and fitness.
This dirt bike track blew me away. First, the fact that they had one, and next the fact that very young girls and boys were using them. I mean, these kids were like Solveig’s age, 7. And the were flying down these tracks and taking the jumps like champs. Wow! Some Fierce Kids!!!
Straight out of the gates with power in mind!
Focus
One of my favorite parts of watching these amazing kids blaze down this track was the coaches in the beginning. These guys went down the line, looked each kid in the the eye and i’m certain said something that inspired and focused these guys to suceed. So fun to watch the cheer them on. One of them even ran after a kid, that was scared, to make sure he knew the coach was near by to support him.
Come on, how old is this guy? So brave already.
Prepared
And what about this young girl. She is ready to fly and …..
Have an Awesome FUN time!!!
